Scientific curriculum: PhD in Neurosciences from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) Morphological Sciences Program, ICB/IDOR (2015-2019). CNPq scholarship holder. Graduated from UFRJ in Biological Sciences: Biophysics, with emphasis on Systems Biophysics (2014).  Skipped the Master. Collaborates in the research lines of the Instituto D'Or de Pesquisa e Ensino (IDOR)  since 2011, four years as a Scientific Initiation student and four years as a PhD student. He completed two years of Scientific Initiation at the Laboratory of Neurophysiology II of Biophysics (Scholarship holder CNPq). He studied Astronomy for two years at UFRJ (2009-2011). Has experience in Neuroimaging, with emphasis on Computational Neuroscience, Emotions and Music. Works with the Matlab and R programming languages.  She is currently a post-doc researcher at IDOR-RJ.

Artistic curriculum: Julie Wein is a singer, songwriter, actress, instrumentalist and doctor in neuroscience. In 2019, he released the single/clip “Beiral da Porta” which is among the TOP 30 of the Best MPB playlist on Spotify. The release of his entirely authorial album "Infinitos Encontros" is scheduled for April 17 by Biscoito Fino. The repertoire takes the audience on a tour of the waltz, samba, bossa nova and romantic ballads. Julie presents, in a solo version, glimpses of the album that receives special participation by Ed Motta, and musicians such as Marcelo Caldi, Marco Lobo, Pedro Franco and Jorge Helder and musical production by guitarist Victor Ribeiro.  He debuted as a protagonist in theater at age 14 in the play O Diário de Anne Frank at Teatro Regina Vogue. Today he works in theater and musical theater in Rio de Janeiro, having as main works: “Dois Amores e um Bicho”, “Contra o Vento – um musicaos”, “Edypop”, “Brilho da Noite” and “A Lenda do Vale da Lua”. ”. She is a post-doc researcher at the D'Or Institute for Research and Teaching. investigate  the mechanisms by which the brain  process  the musical information.

   He has performed since 2014 in cultural centers and houses such as Beco das Garrafas, TribOz, Centro Cultural Carioca, Casa do Choro (RJ)  and MBP Conservatory of Curitiba (PR). He forms a duo with guitarist Pedro Franco and a duo with pianist Gabriel Geszti. There is also a show of MPB, Samba and Bossa Nova in quartet formation.

 

In 2016, she performed in Europe as a guest singer at the Festina Lente International Festival alongside guitarist Marcelo Machado and in  in concert halls in Barcelona (Guzzo and Fizz). He participated in the arrangements of Mario da Silva at the invitation of Renato Piau on the CD "Parte de Mim".

 

   He recorded a special participation at the invitation of Robertinho Silva on the CD Nascimento das Canções in honor of Milton Nascimento alongside the musicians Yamandu Costa, Carlos Malta, Bárbara Barcellos, Robertinho Silva and Alexandre Ito.  He is Felipe Habib's assistant at Studio 88.

Training:

 

Female doctor  at UFRJ in Cognitive Neurosciences.  Graduated in Biophysics from UFRJ with specialization in Neurosciences of Emotions and Music.

He studied with Romildo Weingartner and Iura Ranevsky (cello), Gabriel Gezsti, Analaura de Souza Pinto and Rafael Vernet (piano), Marcelo Caldi (accordion), Marcelo Rodolfo, Amelia Rabello and Felipe Habib (singing), Bernardo Ramos (ensemble practice) , Itiberê Zwarg (Universal Music Workshops).

He was part of several choirs in childhood and adolescence, such as Brasileirinho, Sion and Curumim. In the theater he had as mentors the actor Luis Melo ("The Actor Creator") and Clarisse Abujamra ("Body, Voice and Thought"). As a teenager, he was part of the amateur theater group Encena Sion for four years. He studied cinema with Luciano Coelho ("Roteiro para Cinema") and Tom Lisboa ("History of Cinema").

He received a scholarship from Escola Jaime Axôra in Ipanema, and is fluent in ballroom dance rhythms (Salsa, Zouk, Tango, Bolero, Gafieria and Forró).

Study Alexander Technique with Gabriela Geluda (body and voice). Her bodywork was developed by Rocio Infante (Consciência do Movimento and Dança Contemporânea; Faculdade Angel Vianna).
