Julie Wein & Floor Polder

This duo, piano, flute and voices brings you the Brazilian musical experience of Rio de Janeiro with a jazz touch. Floor Polder is a Dutch flutist who came to Brazil to play, research Brazilian music and do a master's degree in music at UFRJ. Julie Wein is a singer, songwriter, instrumentalist, actress and PhD in neuroscience. She is guided by the sensations and emotions that music provokes in the brain. Together they form a duo with piano, flute and voices, their songs show a unique hybridity of jazz and Brazilian music.
